Mar 1958, as Union of Industries of the European Community -- Union des industries de la Communauté européenne. Subsequently changed title to Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederations of Europe -- Union des confédérations de l'industrie et des employeurs d'Europe (UNICE), 22 June 1987, when former members of Council of the Industrial Federations of EFTA (CIFEFTA) became associate members. Current statutes adopted, June 2003. Current title adopted 23 Jan 2007; the full title being BusinessEurope, The Confederation of European Business. EU Transparency Register: 3978240953-79.
