History

Founded by F-XF5877 - European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), D-XE0066 - European Students' Union (ESU), D-XD8329 - European University Association (EUA) and D-XD2600 - European Association of Institutions of Higher Education (EURASHE), at the request of European ministers of higher education (London Summit 2007).

Aims

Further the development of the European Higher Education Area by enhancing confidence in higher education and by facilitating the mutual recognition of quality assurance decisions; serve as a register of European higher education institutions and study programmes which are subject to regular external review by a quality assurance agency, and that have demonstrated their substantial compliance with a common set of principles for quality assurance in Europe, the European Standard and Guidelines (ESG).
