Finland’s last restrictions on events ended at the end of September and business events were given a go-ahead to resume from October 1st. Now that Finland officially reopens, we can’t wait to welcome organizers and delegates back again for safe and successful meetings and events. We’re looking forward to seeing you soon again!

Finland’s last restrictions on events will end at the end of September and business events are given a go-ahead to resume from October 1st. 

As of October 1st, all restrictions on events will be lifted. However, the general hygiene requirements still apply to ensure the health and safety of customers and participants. In addition, restaurant operations are restricted regionally by government decree.

The International Federation of Hydrographic Societies (IFHS) has developed the Hydrographic Professional Accreditation Scheme (HPAS) to provide international recognition to hydrographic professionals in demonstrating their competency, educational background and career development.

Vienna is supporting organizers of congresses and corporate events through the Vienna Meeting Fund 2021-2023. Set up by the City of Vienna, the EUR 4 million fund is aimed at domestic and international organizers who are planning meetings to be held in Vienna until 31 December 2023. Applications are possible until three weeks before the starting date of the event.

Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) received Thailand Energy Awards in the category of excellent controlled building, organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy. BITEC has implemented building energy management as determined by law and there is a concrete energy conservation performance.
