3 June 1962, Geneva (Switzerland). Constitution adopted 26 May 1963, and amended: 30 May 1965, 8 May 1966, 7 May 1967, 20 June 1971, 25 June 1972, 19 May 1974, 8 May 1977, 8 May 1978, 21 June 1980, June 1981, July 1983, July 1989, 30 June 1990, 27 June 1998, 23 June 2007 and 19 June 2010. Registered in accordance with Swiss Civil Code.

Aims

Study problems connected with exercising the professions of translators, revisers, précis-writers, editors and terminologists working for international conferences and organizations; help to ensure high professional standards; defend these occupations.
