1971, by national FOE groups in France, Germany FR, Sweden, UK and USA. Registered in Amsterdam (Netherlands). In 1992 became a 'federation' of organizations. Previously also referred to in French as Réseau international des amis de la terre. Also referred to in French as Fédération internationale des amis de la terre. As of 2004, integrated activities of U-XN7218 - For Mother Earth.
Work towards a peaceful and sustainable world based on societies living in harmony with nature and towards a society of interdependent people living in dignity, wholeness and fulfillment in which equity and human and peoples' rights are realized.
