Founded 1990. Comprises a number of national campaigns with titles as listed; but in UK referred to as Labour behind the Label and in France as De l'éthique sur l'étiquette. Also referred to as European Project on Clean Clothes and as European Clean Clothes Campaign.
Improve labour conditions of workers in the clothing and sportswear industry; raise awareness of workers' rights; inform and mobilize consumers so they will put pressure on companies to improve labour conditions.
