Established as an intergovernmental body of E-XE4176 - United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). Replaces Working Party 4 on Facilitation of International Trade Procedures which had been established in the 1950s.
Improve the ability of business, trade and administrative organizations from developed, developing and transitional economies to exchange products and relevant services effectively; facilitate international transactions by simplifying and harmonizing procedures and information flows, thus contributing to the growth of global commerce.
