Jul 1990, Tenerife (Spain), at 9th Iberoamerican Electrochemical Congress. Name adopted at 10th Congress, Sep 1992, Córdoba (Argentina). Statutes approved at 12th Congress, 23-29 Apr 1996, Mérida (Venezuela).
Aims
Promote, in the framework of the Iberoamerican countries, the cooperation of specialists in the field of pure and applied electrochemical science.
