Promote the speciality of phoniatrics, professional conditions of phoniatricians and scientific relations among members; encourage use of phoniatrics by doctors working in public health service and in private practice, for the benefit of medical care; consolidate solidarity among these medical doctors; study professional, social and ethical problems and seek their solution, in the interest of the phoniatricians and their patients; improve living and working conditions of members.
