1960, and re-organized 1981, as a Commission (C 10) of C-XC2768 - International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP). Also referred to as IUPAP Commission on the Structure and Dynamics of Condensed Matter -- Commission de l'UIPPA sur la structure et la dynamique de la matière condensée. Currently serves as an internal commission.
Aims
Promote information exchange in the field, including: properties and behaviour of atoms and molecules in liquid and solid states; characteristics of solid and liquid states of matter; modelling of condensed matter; application of condensed matter physics to technology.
