Founded by G-XG8992 - Union nationale des maisons familiales rurales d'éducation et d'orientation (UNMFREO), as Association internationale des maisons familiales rurales, at Constituent General Assembly, the first 'Maisons familiales rurales' having been set up in France in 1935, and others subsequently established in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Africa, Central and South America, Asia and North America.
Encourage and promote the development of rural training centres in all parts of the world, to serve as educational centres and provide general training for young people in rural areas.
