From the 21st to the 24th of May 2024, the XVII International Congress of Educating Cities will be held in in Curitiba (Brazil).

For the 18th European Night of Museums on Saturday 13 May 2023, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (France) will open its doors from 6:00 pm to midnight. An occasion to discover its rich architectural and artistic heritage, as well as a series of cultural activities dedicated to Africa. An artistic performance mixing electronic music and lighting will take place in the second half of the evening, with Michael Canitrot as guest of honor. The event is free and no reservation is required.

Country civic space ratings and data on top violations to the freedoms of association, peaceful assembly and expression are used on a regular basis by policymakers, journalists, activists, civil society organisations and other stakeholders.

A Global Standard for cross-border use of Educational Credentials In a move to promote global education and equality, EDU, an intergovernmental organization established by treaty and endowed with independent juridical personality under international law, has launched the Inter-governmental Certificate of Degree Equivalence (ICDE). This new initiative aims to address the growing need for a unified, internationally recognized framework to evaluate academic degrees from all around the world.
