In 2023, the MICE city of Busan was able to attract and host various global MICE events, allowing it to grow into a world-renowned MICE destination. Since industrialization, many business sectors, including manufacturing and transportation, have contributed to the acceleration of global warming, and the MICE industry is no exception. Events such as exhibitions and conventions generate large amounts of waste, and carbon dioxide is emitted as visitors travel to event locations, further polluting the environment.
