de Luigi Toscano

Une exposition consacrée aux victimes des persécutions nazies, réalisée par le photographe et cinéaste germano-italien Luigi Toscano, qui a photographié plus de 400 rescapés de la Shoah et victimes de persécutions nazies en Allemagne, en Autriche, en Biélorussie, aux États-Unis, en Israël, aux Pays-Bas, en Russie et en Ukraine. 200 de ces photographies sont au centre de cette exposition unique installée à l'occasion de la Journée internationale dédiée à la mémoire des victimes de l'Holocauste autour des grilles du Siège de l'UNESCO, du 18 janvier au 12 février 2021.

In honour of 27 January, International Day of Commemoration in memory of victims of the Holocaust, which marks the 76th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination and concentration camp, UNESCO Headquarters in Paris will host the “Lest We Forget” photo exhibition by German-Italian photographer Luigi Toscano.

The exhibition, which is the world’s largest display of portraits documenting the stories of survivors of the Holocaust and other Nazi crimes, consists of 200 photos that will be displayed in public areas within the UNESCO building as well as on the exterior fences for passerbyers to see. Photos will be on display from 18 January to 12 February 2021.
