Created following signing Agreement among Member States of, and as an institution of, D-XD4579 - Caribbean Community (CARICOM),. Officially launched 18 Mar 2010. Agreement establishing CAHFSA replaced by Revised CAHFSA Agreement, 25 Feb 2011, St George's (Grenada). Became operational Oct 2014.

Enhance regional development in agricultural health and food safety through the application of SPS measures that meet the expectation of all stakeholders and contribute to the welfare of citizens.
