Empower regional governments by enabling the strongest connections inside and outside the network and translating them into impactful action; promote sustainable development at subnational level worldwide; seek wider recognition at international level of the important role played by subnational governments towards the realization of the global agendas; contribute to the elaboration and implementation of responsible, ambitious and coherent territorial policies, tools and resources which are adapted to the subnational level; encourage expertise, knowledge exchange, partnerships and projects among regional governments.
