The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).




18 Jan 2002, at the United Nations, Vienna (Austria), following A-XA3375 - United Nations (UN) General Assembly resolution 56/117 in 2001. Registered in accordance with Austrian law, 2002. No activities reported since 2009.


Encourage and enable all stakeholders, and most importantly youth, to participate in all aspects of national youth policy; identify the priority problems facing youth and society and prepare proposals for their solving; exchange global information and research on national youth policy; formulate policy and programme initiatives to strengthen capacities for national youth policy; stress the linkage of national youth policy with various forms of youth service to communities.
