History
Founded during 8th Iberoamerican Conference of Ministers of Youth. One of 5 organizations within E-AA1237 - Comité de Dirección Estratégica de los Organismos Iberoamericanos (CoDEI).
Aims
Improve life quality for youngsters in the region; facilitate and promote cooperation among members, as well as IGOs and NGOs working in the field of youth; strengthen governmental structures concerning youth affairs; work towards interinstitutional and intersectorial coordination; formulate and execute programs and projects; act as a consultative body for the execution and administration of programs and projects in youth affairs and for the adoption of positions and strategies on youth subjects.
