3 Dec 1975, within the framework of H-XD0228 - Union douanière et économique de l'Afrique centrale (UDEAC), on signature of Agreement by representatives of the Governments of Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo and Gabon; Chad and Equatorial Guinea subsequently adhered to the Agreement. Statutes approved 30 Apr 1976, Brazzaville (Congo Brazzaville), by Constituent General Assembly; amended 1978, 2002 and 2009. Commencement of activities: 2 Jan 1977.
Promote economic and social development of member states, especially through the financing of national and multinational investments and of projects of economic integration; support states, sub-regional organizations, financial institutions and economic operators in their efforts to mobilize financial resources and project financing and in the financing of feasibility studies in respect of programmes and projects.
