The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

History

19 Dec 1980, Brazzaville (Congo Brazzaville), on signature of an agreement by Heads of State of Central African Customs and Economic Union (CACEU), following their decision at a meeting, Dec 1979, Bangui (Central African Rep). Statutes adopted 19 Dec 1981.

Aims

Encourage post-graduate multisectoral studies and professional training of specialists from member states; carry out development projects.

Activities

Post-graduate training courses covering theory, methods and practical work. Development work carried out through a team of trainers from ISTA and a group of external consultants. Promotion of industrial projects.
