Established as a project adopted by a Maghreb Summit.
Aims
Define the means and tools to realize integration of the five states of the Maghreb Arabe (Libyan AJ, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania) through continuation of a common policy in different areas and progressive fulfillment of free mouvement of persons, services, goods and capital; safeguard Maghrebian economic interests; foster and promote economic and cultural cooperation among member states; intensify mutual commercial exchanges as a necessary precursor for integration and the creation of a Maghreb Economic Space.
