23 Jun 1987, Brussels (Belgium), as European Committee for EC Agricultural Engineers – Comité européen des ingénieurs agronomes de la CE – Europäischer Ausschuss der Diplom-Agraringenieure der Europäischen Gemeinschaft, previously a Liaison Committee of Agricultural Engineers for the EEC Countries – Comité de liaison des ingénieurs agronomes des pays membres des Communautés économiques européennes – Verbindungs-Ausschuss der Diplom-Landwirte der Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Wirtschaftsgemeinschaften having been formed, Jun 1963, Brussels. Subsequently name changed to European Committee of Agronomists – Comité européen des ingénieurs agronomes – Europäischer Ausschuss der Diplom-Agraringenieure. Current name adopted 13 Oct 1996. Registered in accordance with Belgian law.

Aims

Ensure the protection and conservation of the environment; promote the European integration, inter alia, by developing the collaboration between its members and the institutions offering university-level education in agriculture within the European Union member countries; promote the general and specific interests of members with EC/EU authorities and other communities and bodies.
