Promote engineering science and technology by fundamental and applied research; maintain the level of university education and of continuous professional training in engineering, in close conjunction with scientific research; guarantee quality and ethics of professional practice of the university graduate engineer; remove limitations to free movement and of obstacles to professional practice of different types of equivalent education; defend professional interests and the highest level engineering worldwide.
