An international meeting venue ideally situated in the heart of Europe, a financial and technological hub with a global reputation, Geneva is a cosmopolitan city, a unique and particularly privileged setting for meetings industry that takes its visitors by surprise. Meeting facilities with state-of-the-art technology, hotels equipped to the most exacting standards (36 conference hotels 3-5 stars, 2 conference centres for up to 10’000 delegates) and highly skilled personnel are other assets that attract tourism professionals. Geneva also has a human dimension: It is known for the quality of life its visitors are delighted to discover. The International Airport welcomes flights from more than 140 destinations and it takes only 6 minutes to reach the city centre by train.

Regarding the scientific field the University of Geneva has a strong international reputation for the quality of its research. In addition to excellent medical clinics, Geneva University Hospitals manage a first-class research program. The renowned CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) is one of the biggest and most prestigious scientific laboratories in the world.

Furthermore Geneva is a big economic hub in many fields providing unique synergies and partnerships: flavors, fragrances, banking, finance, biotech, medtech, cleantech, watchmaking, luxury goods, microtechnologies, commodities trading, trade finance, information technology, and much more.

This dynamic environment has made of Geneva one of the top destinations for world-class international conferences and congresses.

Centre International de Conférence Genève

Your congress, seminar or exhibition can be hosted with optimum convenience and comfort in two distinctive conference centres. The CICG and CCV provide rooms with seating from 20 to 2200 places. They are ideally located just off the Place des nations (UN) and within easy reach of the principal international organizations and diplomatic representations in Geneva.

The CICG's versatile infrastructure offers endless solutions and combinations, whatever your needs may be. A spacious lobby, including an information desk, provides a perfect spot for exhibitions, receptions and banquets, and will make your event unique and unforgettable. There are six vast meeting rooms on this level. They can be used as is or converted into larger or smaller units by combining mobile partitions or dividers. The largest of the three meeting rooms can be merged with the room on the next level, resulting in a breathtaking transformation of available space.

A pleasant lounge area equipped with a bar and comfortable armchairs is the perfect spot to relax and catch your breath between two sessions. To make contacts, continue a discussion or simply unwind, the "Espace Léman" is the place to be. You will be pleasingly surprised by what it has to offer: a large assortment of warm, tasty snacks, a newsstand and gift shop.
