1992 Valencia Spain
History
Founded within H-XK0527 - UNESCO Mediterranean Programme as component of U-XK1405 - Network of Mediterranean Women for Cooperation and Parity, by the Instituto de la Mujer de Valencia and B-XB3383 - UNESCO. Transferred in 1997 to Turin (Italy). Original focus was on the Mediterranean; remit expanded in 1997 to include the Balkans. No activities reported since 2020.
Aims
Further cooperation and interchange of experiences between women of Mediterranean countries in order to propose and carry out sustainable solutions for effective improvement of women's condition throughout the Mediterranean and globally.
