Stimulate: national resources and cultural heritage protection; sound sustainable development management guiding human behaviour towards achieving peace and a safe environment in the Arab region; livelihood enhancement.

Activities

In charge of South Mediterranean actions in cooperation with Mediterranean Information Office for Environment, Culture and Sustainable Development (MIO-ECSDE); convenes meetings in cooperation with Technical General Secretariat of Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE). With experience in climate change, forest fire fighting and environmental degradation, activities include: strategic planning for management of water resources and water conservation on the domestic level and in the industrial and agricultural sectors; designing a model for community awareness-raising and education in the field of water and energy; projects in the fields of solid waste management, desertification and international waters.
