A subsidiary organ of C-XC4129 - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Superseded Islamic Science Foundation. Ceased activities, 7 Apr 1997.


Promote scientific and technological research, in particular its applications in the Muslim world; encourage Islamic cooperation and coordination in the field; ensure integration of science and technology by Muslim States into their socio-economic plans and objectives; provide advisory services and scientific studies.
