Aims

Ensure that standards concerning electricity meters are sensible, reflect the appropriate state of performance of technological developments and, as far as possible, the latest state-of-the-art. On a national level: actively support international standardization through representation in national IEC mirror groups; represent the industry as partner of national regulators; support common contractual agreements between industry and utilities; maintain competitive fairness within the metering business.
