Later known as European Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association – Association européenne de la parfumerie, des produits cosmétiques et de toilette (COLIPA) – Dachverband der Europäischen Parfümerie-, Kosmetik- und Körperpflege-Industrie. Present name adopted, 2012. Registered in accordance with Belgian law. EU Transparency Register: 83575061669-96.
Act as an industry voice with international authorities and organizations; serve as a communication and information centre for the European cosmetic industry, systematically promoting sound scientific approaches; foster and promote an enhanced global trade environment for cosmetic products through the principles of regulatory harmonization and the removal of barriers to trade.
