History

Created by U-XG2010 - Danish Centre for Human Rights, in response to the Barcelona Declaration and the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. Statutes approved at 2nd General Assembly, on 12-13 Dec 1997, Copenhagen.

Aims

Promote human rights values and democratic reforms at regional and national levels in the Euro-Mediterranean area; develop and strengthen partnerships between NGOs in the area by creating network opportunities and encouraging civil society cooperation.
