26-28 Jun 1980, Delhi (India), following the recommendations of a meeting, 8-13 Aug 1977, Colombo (Sri Lanka), of F-XE0426 - International Hydrological Programme (IHP) National Committees of the countries in North, East, Central and South Asia region of B-XB3383 - UNESCO. No longer active.
Aims
Provide technology transfer in the region; promote application and training in appropriate technology; improve quality and quantity of hydrological data; enhance cooperation among Asian region in hydrological field; assist in implementation of IHP; assist in exchange of expertise among Asian countries.
