An independent regional organization, succeeding the U-XE7247 - Red Sea and Gulf of Aden Environment Programme (PERSGA) of D-XD4163 - Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
Promote activities that safeguard the coastal and marine environments and support sustainable development in the countries of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (Yemen) region.
