A specialized institution of D-XD8572 - African Union (AU), since 3rd Ordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of States and Governments, Jul 2004, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), by Decision Assembly AU/DEC 44 (III). Since Oct 2005, a Category 2 Institute under the auspices of B-XB3383 - UNESCO (33 C/Resolution 20).
