May 1980, within the framework of FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (FAO/RLC). Also referred to as Regional Network on Irrigation and Drainage. Presumably no longer exists.

Aims

Promote rational development of irrigated agriculture on low lands subject to flooding through the building of national capacities in the preparation, implementation and management of projects in this technical field.
