Constitution drafted 2 Feb 1979, Nairobi (Kenya), at 4th Conference, and at meeting of experts 24-26 Oct 1979. Previously functioned from 1974 as East African Community Management Institute (EACMI) or East African Management Institute (EAMI), set up by E-XK2203 - East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).


Develop and provide effective advice for management and governance of private, civic and public sector organizations in Africa.
