1981, as a joint programme of D-XD0475 - Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) and D-XD5358 - Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC). Independent since 1992.
Assist in consciousness-raising among women workers in formal and informal sector in Asia towards realization of the commonalities of their situations, problems and analyses; support the organizing efforts of the organized women workers to effect favourable changes in their lives; facilitate networking and linkages amongst women workers and related groups within and outside Asia for solidarity and support.
