Replaces U-XE5938 - Committee of Common Market Automobile Constructors (CCMC) and U-XE2931 - Liaison Committee for the Motor Industry in the EEC Countries.
Aims
Represent the common interests of the 14 major European car, truck and bus manufacturers; dialogue at all levels with the European Union and others concerned with the industry, including the public; use the industry's experience and technical knowledge to cooperate with policy-makers, legislators and opinion-makers in advancing mutual understanding and contributing to realistic and effective legislation.
