History
Founded 1975, as Federation of Western European Rope and Twine Industries – Fédération des industries de corderie-ficellerie de l"Europe occidentale. Subsequently became Federation of European Rope and Twine Industries – Fédération européenne des industries de corderie-ficellerie. Present name adopted 1995, on absorbing H-XD5156 - European Association of Netting Manufacturers (EURONEM).
Aims
Promote dialogue and exchange in fields of common interest between industries; defend EU members against unfair competition; study and solve common problems; gather and disseminate publicly available technical information between members.
