Established as a successor to H-XH7255 - International Committee of Food Science and Technology, set up 1962.

Aims

Promote international cooperation and exchange of scientific/technical information among working scientists and specialists of member countries; support international progress in theoretical and applied areas of food science; advance technology in the processing, manufacturing, preservation and distribution of food products; stimulate education and training in food science and technology.
