Founded 22 Apr 1989, Napa CA (USA), as International Commission on Peace and Food (ICPF), 1st preliminary meeting having been held 19-20 Oct 1990, Trieste (Italy), under the sponsorship of F-XF0440 - TWAS. Converted into a research institution and present name adopted 15 Aug 1996.
Promote world peace and international development by conducting theoretical research and practical programmes to accelerate economic and social development, eradicate unemployment, double world food production and preserve the environment.
