1 June 1966, Rome (Italy), on signature of an international convention by representatives of 20 Latin American governments and Italy.

Aims

Increase economic, technical-scientific and cultural collaboration between Italy and Latin America; develop and coordinate research and documentation related to the problems, realizations and aims of member countries in cultural, economic, social and technical and scientific fields; publicize results of this research in member countries with a view to interchange and reciprocal assistance.
