Aims
Work for: achievement of the economic, social, educational, cultural and other aspirations of workers of the Caribbean region; recognition of the trade union movement as the legitimate instrument of working people to achieve their rights. Support the accepted principles of free and democratic trade unionism as subscribed to by ICFTU and ORIT; seek to represent the free trade union movement in all regional agencies which perform functions affecting the social/economic interests of working people; encourage the formation of national groupings and/or centres of trade unions.
