Our Round Tables are a unique occasion for participants to connect with, and learn from, each other, and our Online Masterclasses offer in-depth information relevant for all international associations.

As a non-profit institution serving global civil society, it is UIA’s Active and Associate Members who form the backbone of our endeavours.

Since our foundation in 1907, our members and supporters have been dedicated individuals and organizations with a keen interest in international cooperation, communication and assembly. They are united in the belief that a global civil society organized to promote international cooperation, peace, security and sustainability is for the benefit of all.

title:Annual General Meeting of Fédération Aéronautique Internationale to land in Vantaa, Finland in 2025

The General Assembly of the International Aviation Association (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, FAI) will be held in Vantaa, Finland in October 2025.

The General Assembly was last held in Finland in 1969. Approximately 150 participants are expected to attend the meeting.

title:Busan's Efforts to Protect the Earth Through MICE Sustainability

The MICE industry is one of the many contributors to environmental degradation. The air and ground travel that bring visitors to MICE events around the world contributes to carbon emissions, while the waste generated at MICE events is another major pollution factor. Recognizing these issues and understanding the need for sustainability, Busan and the BTO CVB are striving to operate MICE events in ways that align with ESG management principles.

title:Busan Solidifies MICE Status Through by Hosting the 27th IAVE World Volunteer Conference

From October 22 to 25, the 27th IAVE World Volunteer Conference was held in Busan under the theme “People Power: Creating a Sustainable Future through Volunteering.” The event brought together volunteers from 80 countries to highlight the importance and value of volunteer work. Divided into multiple sessions, the conference addressed key social issues such as climate change, education, and inequality, with participants sharing their experiences.
