Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN)
Proposed 2008. Establishment process started 2010. Founding meeting Aug 2012, Berlin (Germany). Statutes adopted 1 Oct 2012; revised 25 Oct 2015.
Represent the voice of global youth in the negotiations under the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD); raise awareness among young people of the values of biodiversity; connect individuals and youth organizations so as to build a global coalition to halt the loss of biodiversity.
