Aims

Facilitate the necessary harmonization and achieve maximum cost-effectiveness for the range of global observations that will be needed to understand and monitor earth processes; address how well user requirements are being met by the existing mix of observations, including those of the global observing systems; assess how those requirements could be met in future through better integration and optimization of remote-sensing and in situ systems.
