Promote human rights and peace in formal and informal education, notably by: encouraging cooperative behaviour and peace among people, groups and nations; non-violent resolution of conflict; encouraging personal development and expansion favourizing acceptance of others; transmitting the knowledge required to improve understanding of peace and human rights in the educational field. Combat all forms of inequity and injustice, sources of breakdown and exclusion; be aware of the role which the school should play in the service of humanity so that children of today and citizens of tomorrow benefit from such an education and are able to live in a world at peace.
