The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

May be integrated in future with Caracas Programme of Action (CPA) of developing country members of the Group of 77. Plan included 14 Groups:

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Trade, Transport, and Industry (APEC-TTI);

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Scientific and Technological Development;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Technical Cooperation and Consultancy Services;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Food and Agriculture;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Fisheries;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Telecommunications;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Insurance;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Health;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Employment and Human Resources Development;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Tourism;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Transnational Corporations and Private Foreign Investment;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Physical Education and Sport;

 • Non-aligned Countries Group on Role of Women in Development.
