Promote and defend the interests of the engineering profession; study all problems of interest to member organizations; maintain contact with EEC and international bodies in order to promote their mutual interests; promote the exchange of information between member organizations, non-members and other relevant organizations and professions; liaise with European and international organizations undertaking comparable activities.
