The UIA is a leading provider of information about international non-profit organizations. The aim of the Open Yearbook is to promote the activities of international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

1985
History
1985, at the request of Directorate-General for External Affairs of E-XE2442 - European Commission (EC), as an informal working group within D-XE3351 - BUSINESSEUROPE. Terms of reference agreed, 8 Apr 1986. Also referred to as EC Services Group. Activities taken over by Coalition of Services Industries.
Aims
Represent service exporters within the European Community; provide a forum for discussion of and for seeking to influence international service trade negotiations; make the European Commission aware of practitioners' views and priorities for removing international obstacles to free trade in services.
