Promote social development of the populations of countries involved, through analysis of health systems with regard to drug utilization within and beyond the scope of WHO; call for health for all by the year 2000; create a forum for discussion.

Executive, consisting of President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, Newsletter Editor and 2 other members. Secretariat, based in Harare (Zimbabwe).
